Hi, guys. I just wanted to apologize real quick for taking so long to get back to some of these — my life has been incredibly hectic lately and I haven’t really been making time for this, so I can only imagine how long your questions were sitting there. Thank you to all of you for sticking around and enjoying this. <3
ANONYMOUS: Cutting right to the chase, yeah? XD Personally, I loved it. It certainly wasn’t on par with previous finales in terms of the drama quotient as we’re used to it, but I like the focus on interpersonal drama and shifting relationships and where these people are in their lives. Speaking to Meredith specifically so I don’t babble too long, I was thrilled. I know there’s a lot of upset because of the situation with Derek, but TV being what it is, I have no doubt that’ll get sorted out over the next season, and I really, really loved Meredith so much in this episode: refusing to tell and invalidate the trial, sticking to her guns and saying once again that there’s no right or wrong, that life is more complicated than that, taking Zola home alone. I love that she still has Cristina there, I love that she’s still the complex, so human woman she’s always been, through bad and good, and that she knows she’d do it again. I can see where Derek is coming from on a professional level, but saying Meredith would make a bad mother because of this was, in my opinion, both out of line and wrong. I think it just proves she’s the kind of woman who would do anything for the people she loves (which we already knew, but) and that’s exactly the kind of trait you want in a mother, isn’t it? She’s so tough and compassionate at once, traits I love in her, and those played across so well in this finale.
MANDIIPANDY: Thank you! I’m perfectly fine with you making use of graphics I’ve made. Anything that’s been reblogged — which has been almost everything for the last several months — I can’t speak for, though, and you’d have to ask the original makers if they’d mind.
ANONYMOUS: That was episode 7.09 “Slow Night, So Long.” :)
MERDER1SL0VE: To the best of my knowledge — and I just doublechecked real quick — we never actually see that particular kiss, not the one Derek describes. If I missed it, someone let me know?
Answer:
Yes and no. Admittedly, I’m not sure they’ll pull it off in a way that doesn’t wind up being a case of jumping the shark and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be another episode with minimal screentime/story for Meredith. On the other hand, Sara Ramirez is ridiculously talented (as is Chandra Wilson, oh man, and I’m so sorry T.R. Knight isn’t in the cast for this anymore because that man can sing), so if nothing else, I’ll probably enjoy the music we get from her from it. How about everyone else?

Answer:
To the best of my knowledge, the season is actually 22 episodes long, so there should be another four after that. :D

Thanks. :D The next new episode, “This Is How We Do It,” will air two weeks from tomorrow on March 24th.

Hi, anon(s)! Thanks for your suggestions. I think a bit of a search will reveal you can find all of these moments on here already, but of course, I’m never adverse to posting multiple versions of the same scenes. I’ve been pretty quiet, mostly dropping in to find things to add to the queue to reblog, because real life remains hectic for me — this is a one-woman operation, after all, and real life must always come first, which is also why, regrettably, voiceovers have dropped by the wayside — but I’m leaving these in the ask so I remember to try and do them when I have the spare time. :)
Answer:
I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for exactly, but all of the edits with Alex in them can be found here. :D And if you’re looking for caps, HomeoftheNutty.com is always a good place for Grey’s ones. I hope that helps!
